Indeedy, the hand from last episode belonged to none other than Samurai Dave. This marks the entrance of the first character created by another person I have never met in real life. We'll see what significance this Samurai Dave will play in this little tale of...what ever it is. BTW, Sue doesn't really do this when she meets people for the first time. She does more physical damage -

*Sue glares at Jamie*

uh...I mean...she's really nice and stuff. Yipe! Moving on...

Thanks to all those who participated in last weeks fan art submissions, all one of you. I will post the gallery fairly soon. Thanks to all those who watched last week as well. I really appreciate all the support.

In other news, I did some fanart for Ian of Mac Hall. I did a pin up of Ian as if he was Char Aznable from Char's Counter Attack so go check it out if you happen to be a Gundam fanatic like me (it's in the gallery). If anyone has any requests for anything in terms of artwork or characters you'd like to see, please let me know and post it on the BBS. I'll see what I can come up with. Not too many though. Though I have no job currently, I have a few projects that are keeping me busy.

Okay, this Anthrax thing is really weirding me out. First, some of the little facts I know about Anthrax. Anthrax is not contageous. You have to get the spore into your blood stream for it to do any damage. That means open cuts or the mucus membrain or things like that. So you can't just touch someone and get it. Anthrax is a bacteria so you can kill it. There are different types of Anthrax, an inhalable version and a non-inhalable version (I forgot the scientific names). One is more deadly than the other. The person who died in Florida contracted the deadlier of the two while the person up in New York got the less deadly of the two and is in good health as of this writing. Symptoms of Anthrax include extreme flu-like symptoms and dark leision on the skin (like dark pimples with really dark centers). It is a very treatable disease and should not be feared like Ebola. Once diagnosed, Anthrax is very curable. So really, there's no need to run for the hills.

On the other hand, one person has already died. And there have been cases in two completely unrelated states. If it were localized to Florida, I might have been able to pass it off as a bad accident of some sort. But now that it's been found in New York, there seems to be more to it than just coincidence. The other thing that bothers me is that the New York case happend on September 25 (I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong). Why didn't we know about it when it happened? I understand the need not to panic the general public. But if we are supposed to be more cautious these days, we have to know what to be cautious of.

Regardless, it looks like we're going to be in this thing for the long haul. How long we just don't know. But we will get through this. Some how, we will get through. Thanks for tuning in. See ya Wednesday.

Titanium Moose
The title of this site and the main feature comic. This started out as sort of an anime parody strip. Now it's started into a weekly story line. I know it can be kinda tedious to see a page a week at a time so I'm collecting the pages here so you can click through them all at once if you wish.
