October 7 2001 50,000 HITS! Thanks so much everyone! WoW! And I'm still taking fanart submissions until next weekend so get those pens and pencils drawing. I must admit that this comic was almost late. I've been working on a piece of fanart for the Last Shot contest over at Studio XD. Here's the monstrous piece. I didn't like the first one I did so I made something else. I finished at 3am, so I almost didn't do today's comic. I think it's about 7am now and I'm glad to be able to upload today's episode. Last week was a very good week for me. With recent events, things have been less than fun in the world in general. And though I count myself lucky that I get to see the most wonderful person I have ever known every day now, recent events have shadowed that joyful realization. But last week was pretty cool. TNN was playing Star Trek: The Next Generation for 18 hours every day last week. I almost forgot how good it was. That whole Voyager crap had kinda soured my opinion of the whole Trek thing. So I got to see all my favorite episodes every day and almost every hour. How cool! I'm still reserving judgement on the new Enterprise series, but I am already somewhat disappointed with the Asian liguist on the ship. Why does she have to whine so much? Harry Kim whined a lot. Sulu never whined. He just ran around half naked with a sword. Oh darn, I was talking about how cool last week was. I had a job interview on Friday and that was pretty cool. It wasn't for a design or illustration position. It was for a programming position of all things. Database maintanance and design with a bit of HTML thrown in for good measure. Fortunately, the database stuff is all in Filemaker Pro which, I have decided, is one of the easiest database programs out there. You don't need to know any hard core programming because all the functions are in a fun library that you can just drag and drop to make fields hold data and all that. If you want to add database programing to your skill set, check out Filemaker (darn, too bad I don't have any sponsors). Oh, and I got 50,000 hits sometime yesterday. So it's been a pretty cool week. Still working on ideas for a "thank you" pinup and fun bags Halloween thing is on its way so stay tuned. Thanks again for watching. added 7:20am I HATE DIALUP!! I just got kicked off so I can't upload right now. I dunno when this will actually go up, but I had every intention of getting it up before the sun came up. Now the birds are chirping and the sun is up. DAMN DAMN DAMN!! Why did my remote modem company have to go out of business? ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!! It's actually kinda weird. When the phone rings I get kicked off and when another modem dials I get kicked off. Yet, my housemate's don't have that problem. I guess phonelines hate Macs. Got questions about this strip? Post them on our BBS.
The best place to find manga making stuff including manga paper and G pen nibs (which I use to ink)
