Happy September everybody. And for the poor souls back that have to go back to school this week, I feel sorry for you. Don't let them take your mind, your mind will keep you free!
Today's strip comes to you in "someone-is-playing-around-with-them-photoshop-plug-ins" - Vision. That's right, Photoshop lets you do some wacked out stuff. I actually did the lineart all in Painter so this kinda marks one of my first all-digital comics (the Captain Apathy and Captain Veg series was technically the very first).
Not much new to report. Oh, did just back from the lake this past weekend. That's why this strip is so late. Went up to the lake with Sue, and James and two of our friends, Derek and Kristi. It's actually Derek's families cabin and he was kind enough to invite us along to hang out. Much thanks go out to Derek. So spent the weekend relaxing lakeside, sailing, swimming, and fishing. I actually caught two fish. Imagine a city boy catching something other than a cold. I actually wanted to catch us some dinner since Derek and I went up a few days early since he's out of school now and I'm out of a job. Wanted to eat something besides spaghetti for dinner, but the fish were too small. Oh well.
We also watched a bunch of DVDs. Kung Fu movies are the best cure for a rainy day. The ones that come out of Hong Kong these days are just so crazy and insane and very entertaining. Whenever we do indeed get our movie review site up, we'll give you a list of some of our favortie chop saki flicks.
Otay, tomorrow I should have a new rant up. And in other comic news, I think T and I have found a sponsor for our "Search" project. I'll be sure to let you all know what's going on with that as I get more details, but I might actually be getting some good exposure as well as some paychecks in the near future. Keep watching and thanks for all the support.
